Role Title: Manager Business Development

Reports To: Director Business Development

Purpose of the Role

The Manager Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth through proactive sales and marketing activities for The Executive Centre's premium serviced office solutions. The role focuses on acquiring new clients, managing key accounts, building strong market relationships, and supporting brand visibility through strategic marketing and networking initiatives.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Sales Responsibilities

  • Develop thorough knowledge of The Executive Centre's products and services
  • Prepare for and conduct professional site inspections and sales tours
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, including needs analysis and information extraction
  • Handle inbound and outbound sales enquiries effectively
  • Prepare customized office proposals for prospective clients
  • Set up and manage client appointments and prospect meetings
  • Maintain follow-up sequences and track chase dates to ensure deal progression
  • Negotiate commercial terms and close sales agreements
  • Prepare and coordinate License Agreements in line with company standards

Marketing & Business Development Responsibilities

  • Maintain and manage the client and prospect database
  • Develop and execute pre-opening marketing plans for new centres
  • Implement local marketing initiatives to generate leads and brand awareness
  • Identify and collaborate with joint marketing partners
  • Organise promotional activities with hotels, property agents, and business associations
  • Build and maintain relationships with local Business Chambers and Associations
  • Actively participate in networking events, functions, and industry forums
  • Provide operational support and work closely with internal operations teams

Key Performance Indicators / Job Requirements

  • Minimum 7+ years of proven sales experience in premium hotels, serviced offices, or business centres
  • Fluency in English is mandatory
  • Energetic, confident, and socially adept professional with a strong client-facing presence
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment while also operating autonomously
  • Demonstrated ability to identify new business opportunities and sales channels
  • Strong experience in building and managing a robust sales pipeline
  • Proven capability to manage multiple client accounts and maintain long-term relationships
  • Skilled in negotiating with senior decision-makers, executives, and CEOs
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and networking skills
  • Strong ability to manage client correspondence and respond to inquiries professionally
  • Able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
