Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager will identify and establish new business opportunities, build and maintain strong client relationships, and develop strategies to achieve company revenue goals. Responsibilities include prospecting potential clients, pitching company services, negotiating and closing deals, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. The role also involves staying informed about industry trends and competitor activities to drive continuous business growth.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in business development, sales, client relationship management, and negotiation
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to identify opportunities and develop actionable plans
  • Knowledge of the trade show and event industry, along with an understanding of customer and market dynamics
  • Proficiency in CRM software, sales tools, and other business development technologies
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to revenue growth
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in any stream, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus
  • Previous experience in the trade show industry or events sector is advantageous
