Job Title: Institutional Stone Consultant.

Department: Institutional Sales.

Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra

Reports to: AVP - Institutional Sales.

JOB Description

We are looking for a seasoned Institutional Sales professional to drive project sales and key account management across Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have strong relationships with leading developers, contractors, PMCs and specifiers in the building materials space.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Generate and convert leads from large developers, builders, and institutional clients across Mumbai and Maharashtra.
  • Key Account Management: Maintain and grow relationships with existing marquee clients such as Reliance, Adani Realty, Oberoi Realty, Lodha developer, Rustomjee, etc.
  • Channel Network: Leverage strong connections with interior contractors, architects, PMC firms, and large developers to influence specifications and secure projects
  • Project Sales: Handle end-to-end project cycle from lead generation, specification, tendering, negotiation to final closure
  • Market Intelligence: Track upcoming projects, competitor activities, and pricing trends in the institutional segment
  • Revenue Targets: Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets for the assigned territory
  • Cross-functional Coordination: Work with design, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure timely execution and client satisfaction

Desired Skills

  • Experience: 8-12 years in institutional/project sales from tiles, kitchen, bath fittings, sanitaryware, or allied building material industry
  • Network: Proven track record and existing relationships with top real estate developers in Maharashtra + strong connect with interior contractors
  • Client Base: Must have handled clients like Reliance, Adani Realty, Oberoi Realty, Lodha, Hiranandani, Godrej Properties, etc.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills. Strong technical understanding of building materials
  • Education: Graduate/MBA preferred
  • Travel: Willing to travel within Maharashtra for client meetings and site visits, and Kishangarh along with clients for selection of material.
