Role Description: The Business Development Manager (C&I Solar EPC) will identify and secure new business opportunities in the solar energy sector while fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Daily tasks include conducting market research, preparing proposals and presentations, negotiating contracts, and driving new customer acquisition. This is a full-time, on-site role located in Jaipur and travel as per requirements.

Skills: Solar EPC Projects (Both CAPEX & OPEX models), Market Development & Lead Generation, Client Engagement & Sales Closure, Industry Networking & Partnerships, Sales Operations & Reporting, MW-scale rooftop/ground-mounted solar projects, Understanding of PPA structures, Regulatory framework (net metering, open access).

Location(s): Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad

Reporting To: CXO Team

Experience: 5-10 years in Solar EPC, Renewable Energy, or Industrial Solutions Sales. Proven experience in closing MW-scale rooftop/ground-mounted solar projects.

Key Responsibilities:

o Market Development & Lead Generation

o Identify and develop C&I solar opportunities in assigned region (industrial belts).

o Build and manage a strong sales pipeline through direct engagement, consultants, and channel partners.

o Conduct site visits, load assessments, and feasibility discussions with prospects. Client Engagement & Sales Closure

o Present solar EPC / RESCO value propositions to CFOs, plant heads, facility managers, and promoters.

o Structure techno-commercial proposals in coordination with pre-sales & design team.

o Negotiate and close orders in line with revenue and margin targets. Industry Networking & Partnerships.

o Leverage existing relationships in automotive, pharma, textiles, engineering, warehousing, FMCG, food processing, and commercial real estate.

o Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events, and sustainability forums.

o Build local consultant and influencer network to drive referrals. Sales Operations & Reporting o Maintain accurate pipeline & customer data on CRM.

o Provide competitor intelligence and market insights to management.

o Achieve assigned annual revenue targets.

Candidate Profile Education: Graduate in Engineering / Science / Commerce; MBA preferred.

Fixed Salary: Commensurate with Industry Standards; depending on experience & network. Variable Incentive: % linked to order booking Other Benefits: Travel allowance, performance accelerators, growth path to Regional Sales head.
