Job Title: Business Development Manager – Home Textiles Export

About UsShree International is a manufacturer and exporter of home textiles specializing in cushions, throws, bedding, rugs, table linen, curtains, and other soft home products. We work with global customers across multiple markets and are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth and build long-term customer relationships.
Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced and result-oriented Business Development Manager with strong experience in the Home Textiles Export Industry. The candidate should have prior experience working with buying houses as well as direct international buyers and should be capable of independently developing business opportunities and managing relationships.
Key Responsibilities• Develop new business opportunities with international buyers, buying houses, retailers, importers, and brands
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and key stakeholders
• Identify new markets, customers, and product opportunities within home textiles
• Coordinate with product development, merchandising, sampling, and production teams to ensure smooth execution
• Conduct buyer presentations, product discussions, negotiations, and commercial closures
• Work closely with management to create growth strategies and achieve sales targets
• Travel internationally and domestically for buyer meetings, exhibitions, and business development activities when required
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements
• Manage inquiries from initial contact through sampling, costing, negotiation, and order conversion
Candidate Requirements• Minimum 5 years experience in Home Textiles Export Industry
• Proven experience handling buying houses and direct international buyers
• Strong understanding of home textile categories such as cushions, bedding, throws, rugs, table linen, curtains, etc.
• Strong commercial understanding including costing, margins, negotiations, and pricing discussions
• Experience attending buyer meetings, trade shows, and business development activities
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and drive business growth
Preferred Skills• Existing network within international home textile industry preferred
• Experience with US, European, or Japanese markets is an advantage
• Understanding of product development and export processes preferred
