Job Purpose
The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving the growth of the Emerging Mortgage portfolio by identifying, onboarding, and managing a robust network of Channel Partners and DSAs (Direct Selling Agents) across the Chennai region.
Key Responsibilities
- Channel Acquisition: Identify and onboard high-potential Channel Partners, Brokers, and DSAs to consistently generate Home Loan (HL) and Loan Against Property (LAP) leads.
- Relationship Management: Maintain and deepen relationships with a network of 1520+ active partners to ensure a steady Login of loan files.
- Market Expansion: Analyze the Chennai market to identify new business pockets and opportunities for mortgage growth.
- Portfolio Quality: Ensure high-quality sourcing by pre-screening files for creditworthiness and documentation before submission.
- Target Achievement: Take ownership of monthly and quarterly disbursement targets, ensuring a high conversion rate from login to payout.
- Market Intelligence: Stay updated on competitor offerings, interest rates, and market trends to position DCB Bank as the preferred choice for partners.
Requirements Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hardcore experience in HL and LAP (Mortgages) .
- Education: Graduate / Post-Graduate in any discipline.
- Network: Must have an existing, strong network of at least 15-20 Channel Partners in the Chennai market.
- Stability: Minimum 1 year of stability in the current organization (No frequent job changers).
- Skills: Strong negotiation, relationship building, and technical knowledge of mortgage credit norms.
- Performance: A proven track record of earning high incentives and achieving sales targets.
