Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and result-driven
Business Development Manager (BDM) with a strong background in digital marketing sales. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in
lead generation, client acquisition, proposal creation, and deal closure through platforms such as LinkedIn, Upwork, Fiverr, and other B2B channels.
The candidate will be responsible for generating qualified leads, converting them into clients, and managing the complete onboarding process while ensuring strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation Outreach
- Generate high-quality leads through LinkedIn outreach, cold calling, email campaigns, and networking
- Source clients from Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, and other bidding portals
- Identify businesses requiring digital marketing services
- Sales Client Conversion
- Conduct discovery calls to understand client requirements
- Pitch services including SEO, PPC, Social Media Marketing, Website Development, and Branding
- Prepare customized proposals, quotations, and presentations
- Close deals and achieve monthly revenue targets
- Client Onboarding Coordination
- Manage complete client onboarding after deal closure
- Coordinate with internal teams (SEO, Ads, Design, Development, Marketing)
- Ensure smooth project handover with clear scope and timelines
- Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Upsell and cross-sell additional digital marketing services
- Maintain accurate lead and client data in CRM
- Reporting Performance
- Maintain daily and weekly sales activity reports
- Track conversions, revenue, and sales pipeline
- Meet assigned KPIs and revenue targets
Required Skills Expertise
Mandatory Skills
- 4-5+ years of Business Development experience in a Digital Marketing Agency
- Expertise in LinkedIn outreach and B2B lead generation
- Experience using Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer, and bidding platforms
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Good understanding of digital marketing services and pricing
Technical Sales Skills
- Knowledge of SEO, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Social Media Marketing, and Web Development
- Proposal creation and pricing negotiation
- CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, TeleCRM, etc.)
- Sales funnel and pipeline management
