Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, architects, and contractors, and expanding the company's presence in the local market. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and meeting potential clients, preparing proposals and quotations, coordinating with the design and project teams, and following up to close deals and ensure client satisfaction. The Business Development Manager will track sales performance, prepare reports, participate in client presentations, and represent Royal Epic Interior at industry events and networking opportunities. The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders to align client requirements, pricing, and delivery timelines with company capabilities.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally in interiors, architecture, real estate, or construction.
- Strong skills in client relationship management, negotiation, and deal closing, with the ability to build trust and long-term partnerships.
- Ability to conduct market research, identify opportunities, and develop strategies and plans to grow revenue and market share.
- Solid communication and presentation skills, including the ability to prepare and deliver proposals, pitches, and reports.
- Good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple prospects, site visits, and follow-ups simultaneously.
- Comfortable working on-site in Bengaluru, conducting frequent client meetings and project visits.
- Proficiency with standard office and CRM tools for tracking leads, opportunities, and sales activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
- Understanding of basic interior design and fit-out processes is an advantage, along with prior local market experience in Bengaluru.
