Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Bengaluru. The Business Development Manager will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and retail customers, and expand the company's market presence. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and product presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating and closing sales. The role also involves monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategy, as well as collaborating with internal teams on pricing, marketing initiatives, and project execution. The Business Development Manager will be expected to meet sales targets, maintain accurate records in CRM tools, and provide regular performance reports to leadership.

Qualifications

  • Strong business development and sales skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, and deal negotiation.
  • Client relationship management skills, with the ability to build long-term partnerships and deliver high levels of customer service.
  • Market analysis and strategic planning capabilities to identify growth opportunities and develop action plans.
  • Communication and presentation skills for product demonstrations, proposal discussions, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Experience in sanitaryware, tiles, modular kitchens, wardrobes, or related building materials and interior solutions is highly beneficial.
  • Proficiency in basic office and CRM software, with strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent qualification is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, travel within the region as needed, and meet defined sales and business development targets.
