Job Description

Own the entire sales lifecycle from lead identification and nurturing, to proposal creation, negotiation, and deal closure.
Collaborate with delivery teams for effort estimates, Solutioning, and documentation.
Maintain and report a robust sales pipeline, ensure accurate sales forecasting, and meet quarterly revenue targets.
Create high-impact, customized proposals on Upwork and other marketplaces, increasing bid-to-win ratio.
Manage online profiles (e.g., Upwork, Clutch, GoodFirms) and ensure consistent engagement and visibility.
Optimize bidding strategies based on marketplace trends and buyer behavior.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients across various regions.
Conduct consultative sales calls and follow-ups to understand project scopes, budgets, and timelines.
Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing client accounts.
Conduct market and competitor research to identify emerging trends, pricing benchmarks, and evolving customer needs.
Share insights with internal teams for product/service refinement and go-to-market alignment.

Requirements

4+ years of business development experience in the IT services industry (custom software, mobile/web apps, ERP/CRM).
Strong understanding of Zoho ecosystem and Odoo ERP (both functional and sales perspectives).
Proven experience working with clients across US, UK, Europe, Middle East, Pan-Pacific, and Africa.
Align software solutions with client needs in industries such as: Banking & Financial Services (BFSI)
Insurance & InsurTech, Healthcare & Telemedicine,Logistics & Supply Chain
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical mindset and ability to assess client business objectives to propose tailored solutions.
Proficient in CRM and sales management tools (e.g., HubSpot, Zoho CRM, Pipedrive).
