Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Noida. The Business Development Manager will own the end-to-end sales cycle identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing long-term client relationships, and driving the creation and execution of strategic business plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting market research, meeting and pitching to potential clients, preparing tailored presentations and proposals, and leading contract negotiations through to closure. The Business Development Manager will work closely with the sales, product, and leadership teams to consistently meet revenue targets and contribute to Pythrust's growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities across target industries
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, and referrals
  • Develop and deliver compelling pitches, presentations, and proposals tailored to client needs
  • Lead commercial discussions and contract negotiations to close deals
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and growth opportunities
  • Contribute to strategic planning, forecasting, and quarterly business reviews
  • Collaborate with product and delivery teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and handover

Qualifications

  • Sales and marketing: Proven experience in market research, lead generation, client acquisition, and business pitching, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Communication and relationship management: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, active listening, and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels.
  • Strategic and analytical thinking: Strong ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and contribute to strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Presentation and negotiation: Ability to create compelling presentations and lead contract negotiations to successfully close deals.
  • Technology sector knowledge: Familiarity with technology products, digital platforms, or MVP development is a strong plus.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • Experience: 2–5 years of relevant business development or B2B sales experience, preferably in a tech, SaaS, or product/services company.
