Job Description – Business Development Manager (BDM)

Department: Marketing & Business Development

Location: Gurugram

Working Days: Monday to Saturday

Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Position Overview

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will drive revenue growth through strategic partnerships, corporate collaborations, and expansion of the supplement and wellness product segment.

This role requires strong hands-on experience in supplement sales or wellness product distribution, along with proven business development capabilities. The candidate must have solid market connections and the ability to convert opportunities into revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in healthcare, wellness, and supplement sales markets
  • Drive sales of wellness supplements and related products through B2B and B2C channels
  • Build and expand partnerships with clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, and corporate clients
  • Develop strong distribution and referral networks

Supplement & Product Expertise (Must-Have)

  • Demonstrate deep understanding of wellness supplements and product positioning
  • Leverage existing market connections to generate business
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within product lines
  • Stay updated on trends in supplements, nutrition, and preventive healthcare

Lead Generation & Market Expansion

  • Generate qualified leads through fieldwork, networking, and industry connections
  • Explore new market segments for supplement and wellness product growth
  • Conduct presentations, pitches, and business meetings

Relationship Management

  • Build long-term relationships with key partners and clients
  • Maintain continuous engagement with accounts for repeat business
  • Represent the brand professionally in all external interactions

Strategy & Coordination

  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to align growth strategies
  • Contribute to campaigns focused on product sales and partnerships
  • Provide market insights, competitor analysis, and growth ideas

Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Track sales performance, partnerships, and revenue contribution
  • Maintain pipeline reports and weekly updates
  • Monitor achievement of targets and business growth metrics

Key Skills & Competencies

  • Strong experience in supplement sales / wellness product business (mandatory)
  • Excellent networking and relationship-building skills
  • Strong sales mindset with revenue-focused approach
  • Negotiation and partnership development ability
  • Confident communication and presentation skills
  • Self-driven and target-oriented

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or related field
  • MBA preferred
  • 2–6 years of experience in business development with a focus on supplement or wellness product sales (must-have)
  • Experience in healthcare, aesthetics, or wellness industry preferred
  • Indian/ global market experience is an advantage
  • English fluency required
