Role Overview

The Business Development Manager Sales will play a critical role in driving revenue growth by acquiring new clients, expanding existing accounts, and strengthening ProMunim's market presence. The role involves strategic sales planning, lead generation, relationship management, and coordination with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and service delivery.

This position requires a strong understanding of consultative sales, B2B services, and long-term relationship building, particularly in the accounting, compliance, and professional services domain.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities across MSMEs, professionals, startups, and enterprises.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Promote ProMunim's service offerings, including accounting, taxation, compliance, financial planning, IT solutions, and franchise opportunities.
  • Drive sales for COCO franchise model and strategic partnerships where applicable.

2. Lead Generation & Sales Pipeline Management

  • Generate qualified leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, digital channels, events, and partnerships.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline using CRM tools.
  • Conduct client meetings, presentations, and service demonstrations.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and commercial negotiations in coordination with internal teams.

3. Client Relationship & Account Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients during the sales and onboarding phase.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with clients to ensure repeat business and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Understand client requirements and align ProMunim's solutions accordingly.
  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through timely follow-ups and issue resolution.

4. Market Research & Strategy

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Provide insights and feedback to management on market demand, pricing strategies, and service enhancements.
  • Support branding and positioning initiatives in coordination with marketing teams.

5. Cross-functional Coordination

  • Collaborate with operations, finance, compliance, and technical teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and service delivery.
  • Ensure accurate handover of client requirements to service teams.
  • Track post-sales performance and ensure commitments made during sales are fulfilled.

6. Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Maintain accurate sales reports, forecasts, and MIS.
  • Track KPIs such as lead conversion ratio, revenue achieved, client acquisition cost, and retention metrics.
  • Present regular updates to senior management.

Required Qualifications & SkillsEducational Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, commerce, or a related field.
  • An MBA or equivalent qualification is an added advantage.

Experience

  • 48 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in accounting services, consulting, financial services, IT services, or B2B professional services.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
