Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in the education sector to drive growth and expansion of our educational products/services. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of business development, relationship building, and sales in education institutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the education sector, including schools, colleges, universities, and edtech partnerships.
2. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in educational institutions.
3. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
4. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to understand trends, competition, and opportunities in the education sector.
5. Proposal Development: Prepare and present proposals to potential clients.
6. Collaboration: Work closely with product/operations teams to align business development efforts with company capabilities.
7. Target Achievement: Meet or exceed assigned business development targets.
Required Skills/Experience
1. Experience: 2+ years of experience in business development/sales in the education sector.
2. Education Background: Preferably a degree in Business Management, Marketing, Education, or related field.
3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Networking: Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
5. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends and competition.
6. Sales Acumen: Proven sales track record.
7. Knowledge of EdTech: Familiarity with edtech products/services is a plus.
