About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Executive / Business Development Manager to join our team in Hyderabad.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience working with companies or clients from the clothing, textile, fabric, garment, or fashion retail industry preferably with brands like Pantaloons, Max Fashion, Reliance Trends, Lifestyle, Raymonds, or Arvind Mills, etc.
The role involves direct field interaction with fabric manufacturers, apparel retailers, fashion outlets, and distributors, building strong B2B relationships, and driving sales growth for our digital and software-based business solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, approach, and onboard clothing brands, textile manufacturers, fashion outlets, and garment retailers for our digital / app-based products and solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, sales presentations, and solution pitches to potential clients.
- Develop and maintain long-term B2B relationships with key decision-makers in the apparel and textile sector.
- Plan and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned targets and expand market presence in the fashion and garment industry.
- Negotiate commercial terms, finalize business deals, and ensure consistent revenue growth.
- Gather and report market intelligence, client feedback, and competitor insights from the textile and apparel ecosystem.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, and product) to deliver excellent client experience.
- Maintain detailed sales reports and update CRM on a regular basis.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Textile Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in field sales / business development, preferably within clothing, textile, garment, or fashion retail industries.
- Proven track record in B2B or retail sales, especially with apparel manufacturers, boutiques, or retail chains.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to independently handle client interactions, objections, and closures.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, MS Office, and digital communication platforms.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable with regular field travel within Hyderabad and surrounding regions.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience selling digital marketing solutions, POS systems, ERP, or e-commerce software to fashion or textile clients.
- Good network and market understanding of Hyderabad's apparel, textile, and garment ecosystem.
- Awareness of current trends and digital transformation opportunities in the clothing and fabric industries.
