Job Title: Business Development Manager (BDM)

Experience: 3–5 Years

Location: Remote kochi

Role Overview

We are looking for a proactive and result-driven Business Development Executive who will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with retail partners, and driving revenue growth. The role requires a mix of strategic thinking, fieldwork, and strong stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Analysis

  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential sales opportunities and emerging market trends
  • Analyze competitor strategies and market dynamics to build a strong competitive advantage

Lead Generation & Business Expansion

  • Identify and target potential retail partners including retailers, distributors, and wholesalers
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads
  • Develop and execute strategies to acquire new distributors and retail clients

Sales & Relationship Management

  • Drive sales growth by expanding existing relationships and onboarding new partners
  • Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with retail clients
  • Act as the primary point of contact for retail partners and represent their interests internally

Collaboration & Strategy Execution

  • Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, operations) to align product offerings with client needs
  • Support the development of customized solutions to enhance client satisfaction and business growth

Negotiation & Contract Management

  • Lead negotiations for agreements, contracts, and partnerships
  • Ensure all deals align with company objectives and compliance standards

Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and report sales performance, KPIs, and business development metrics
  • Provide regular updates and insights to management on progress and opportunities

Customer Experience

  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by addressing queries, resolving issues, and managing expectations effectively

Field Work & Networking

  • Travel to meet retail clients, conduct market visits, and attend industry events or conferences as required
