Job Summary
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and managing key relationships within the assigned zone. The role requires an experienced professional capable of leading a team independently, developing strategic business plans, and achieving revenue targets across product categories including decor paper, plywood, HPL, ceramic, and pre-lam boards.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets for the assigned zone
- Identify new market opportunities, dealers, distributors, and key accounts
- Strengthen relationships with architects, interior designers, builders, OEMs, and channel partners
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
Zone Management
- Independently manage and grow the assigned zone with complete P&L responsibility
- Ensure effective market coverage, dealer network expansion, and brand visibility
- Plan and execute zone-wise sales campaigns, promotions, and product launches
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales executives and area managers
- Set clear performance goals and review team performance regularly
- Conduct regular training on products, market positioning, and sales techniques
Key Account Management
- Handle high-value and strategic customers within the zone
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and long-term agreements
- Ensure timely order execution, collections, and customer satisfaction
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports
- Coordinate with marketing, production, logistics, and finance teams
- Provide regular market feedback to senior management
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 10+ years of proven experience in decor paper, plywood, HPL, ceramic, or pre-laminated boards industry
- Strong understanding of channel sales, distribution networks, and project sales
- Demonstrated experience in leading teams and managing zones independently
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned zone
Educational Qualification : Masterdegree in Business Management, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)

Pay & Perks: CTC 10-12 LPA (all inclusive) based on the interview and relevant experience.
