Role Overview
The Sales & Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building strong channel partnerships across HoReCa, Institutional, and General Trade (GT) segments.
The role requires a hands-on professional with strong market knowledge, distributor management skills, and the ability to open new accounts while strengthening existing relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Drive sales targets across HoReCa, Institutional, and GT channels
- Develop and execute channel-wise sales strategies
- Identify high-potential markets, cities, and customer segments
- Increase product penetration and average billing per customer
Business Development
- Acquire new HoReCa, institutional, and key GT accounts
- Onboard distributors, dealers, and channel partners as per expansion plan
- Develop long-term contracts with hotels, caterers, QSRs, and institutions
- Support launch of new products (NPDs) in the market
Channel Management
- Manage and grow distributor and C&F network
- Ensure effective market coverage, beat planning, and route management
- Monitor secondary sales, stock rotation, and product availability
- Resolve channel conflicts and ensure pricing discipline
Key Account Management
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Negotiate commercials, credit terms (as per policy), and schemes
- Ensure high service levels and timely resolution of complaints
- Coordinate closely with production, logistics, and accounts teams
Market Intelligence & Reporting
- Track competitor activity, pricing, and schemes
- Share market feedback for product improvement and innovation
- Prepare weekly and monthly MIS, forecasts, and action plans
- Analyse sales data to identify growth opportunities and gaps
Team Coordination
- Guide and support sales executives / officers
- Set targets, monitor performance, and provide on-field training
- Drive execution of company policies and SOPs at ground level

Experience
- 712 years of relevant sales & business development experience
- Mandatory experience in:
- HoReCa sales
- Institutional / B2B sales
- General Trade (GT) distribution
