Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager, based in Bengaluru. The Business Development Manager will develop relationships with clients, identify potential business opportunities, and implement sales strategies to expand the reach of Marshalls Wallcoverings. Responsibilities include building and maintaining a client pipeline, negotiating contracts, presenting products to prospective clients, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve sales goals. The role requires proactive engagement with architects, interior designers, and other stakeholders to promote the brand and get Marshalls specified.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, and client relationship management
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers
- Understanding of interior design and architecture industry trends, specifically related to wallcoverings or interior décor products
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
