Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Bengaluru South. The Business Development Manager will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and maintain a strong sales pipeline, and drive revenue growth for LRYPT Technologies engineering software solutions and services. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and outreach, conducting client meetings and product presentations, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating commercial terms in alignment with company guidelines. The role will collaborate with technical and product teams to understand solution capabilities, tailor offerings to client needs, and support pre-sales activities such as demos and proof-of-concepts. The Business Development Manager will also monitor market trends, analyze competitors, provide sales forecasts and reports, and contribute to account planning and customer relationship management.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales skills, including prospecting, lead qualification, pipeline management, and deal closure.
- Experience in B2B technology or engineering software solutions, with the ability to understand and explain technical value propositions to business and technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a focus on building long-term, trust-based client relationships.
- Strategic thinking and analytical abilities, including market research, competitive analysis, and sales forecasting.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and standard productivity software for managing opportunities, documentation, and reporting.
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet targets while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent business qualification is an advantage.
- Prior experience in the engineering, technology, or software industry in a client-facing commercial role is highly desirable.
