LeanWay Energy Pvt Ltd is a company based in Pune, India working in the field of Solar Power Generation with Rooftop and Ground mount Solar Power projects. We design new technology engineering products that are useful for Industries, Domestic and Commercial establishments.

Role Description

The Solar Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the growth of the company's solar energy portfolio by identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and managing the end-to-end sales and project acquisition cycle. This role requires a deep understanding of renewable energy solutionssuch as rooftop solar, ground-mounted solar parks, open access, and energy efficiency offeringscombined with strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.

The role is based in Pune.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechanical/Energy) or related field. MBA preferred.
• 38 years of experience in solar energy or renewable energy business development.
• Experience in rooftop, open access, captive models, or solar park development is an advantage.

Technical & Commercial Skills

• Knowledge of solar PV systems, net metering, open access models, policy frameworks, and financing options.
• Strong understanding of energy cost structures, feasibility analysis, and payback calculations.
• Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and proposal-making.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong networking ability and stakeholder management.
• Target-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
• Problem-solving mindset with strategic thinking.
