We are a boutique investment bank focused exclusively on the Indian Infrastructure sector. Our work spans the entire lifecycle of infrastructure projectsPPP bid advisory, debt syndication, acquisition and divestment of SPVs, and advisory on stressed/NCLT assets. We work closely with promoters and developers to create viable, bankable, and profitable transactions. We are empaneled as Financial Advisors with Government bodies like National Highway Authority of India, Ministry of Road Transport & Highways etc.

Role Purpose

The Manager Business Development is a Front-end role, responsible for independent mandate origination, senior client relationship management, and revenue generation. The role demands a proven hunter with experience in selling corporate financial products and the ability to influence senior decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities

Mandate Origination & Revenue Generation

  • Independently originate advisory mandates in the infrastructure sector.
  • Proactively source clients across developers, infrastructure platforms, EPC players, and investors.
  • Pitch and close mandates related to:

PPP bid advisory

Debt syndication and refinancing

Acquisition and divestment of infrastructure SPVs

NCLT and stressed asset transactions

  • Own the business development cycle from lead generation to mandate signing.

Senior Client Relationship Management

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with promoters, CXOs, CFOs, and board-level stakeholders.
  • Understand client requirements and position our advisory offerings accordingly.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients during origination and early execution phases.

Team & Execution Interface

  • Work closely with execution teams to ensure commercially viable and bankable solutions
  • Coordinate with Client to support transaction progress

Candidate Profile

Experience

  • 58 years of experience in corporate sales, relationship management, or mandate sourcing.
  • Strong background in selling one or more of the following to corporates:

Investment banking / merchant banking services

Banking or NBFC products

Corporate insurance or treasury solutions

Skills & Attributes

  • Proven ability to influence decision-makers and close high-value mandates
  • Strong negotiation, persuasion, and stakeholder management skills
  • Deep comfort with targets, accountability, and revenue ownership
  • Ability to quickly grasp infrastructure business models and project structures
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with long-term relationship orientation

Qualifications

  • MBA / PGDBM (preferred but not mandatory for strong performers)

Other Requirements

  • Own conveyance
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development in Maharashtra
