Role Overview
We're looking for a Business Development Manager who can own the entire revenue funnel, from lead qualification to closure, for our commercial hydroponic farm end-to-end solutions.
This role is ideal for someone who understands consultative selling, is comfortable with high-ticket deals, and can explain ROI, payback periods, and farm economics clearly to prospects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Management & Sales
- Handle inbound leads from website, social media, ads, and referrals
- Qualify prospects based on land size, budget, intent, and investment readiness
- Conduct discovery calls and on-site/virtual consultations with the Founder
- Pitch HydroHealth's commercial farm solutions (polyhouse / hydroponic setups)
- Deal Closure
- Present proposals including CapEx, OpEx, ROI, and payback timelines
- Negotiate pricing, timelines, and commercial terms
- Close deals and hand over smoothly to the project execution team
Sales Funnel Reporting:
- Maintain accurate lead data and pipeline stages in CRM
- Track follow-ups, conversion rates, and deal velocity
- Share weekly reports on leads, closures, and revenue forecasts
- Market Feedback
- Share on-ground insights on customer objections, pricing sensitivity, and demand trends
- Help refine sales pitches, ROI calculators, and investor-facing material
Ideal Candidate Profile
Must-Haves
- 1-2 years of experience in Business Development / Sales
- Experience selling high-value or consultative solutions
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Comfort with numbers: ROI, margins, investment discussions
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and execution-focused
Good to Have
- Experience in agri-tech, real estate, infra, renewable energy, or investment products
- Exposure to selling to HNIs, investors, or business owners
- Familiarity with hydroponics, polyhouse farming, or agri-projects
