Business Development Manager Sensors
Location: India (Remote)
Compensation: 5,000,000 7,000,000 per year
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute the commercial strategy for the Indian market, owning the full sales pipeline from early technical consultation through design-in.
- Build and maintain high-trust, multi-level relationships within strategic target accounts.
- Engage with R&D and engineering teams early in product development to ensure sensing technologies are incorporated into design specifications.
- Identify opportunities across the Indian manufacturing ecosystem, particularly within HVAC, appliance, and industrial sectors.
- Translate local market insights and customer requirements to global teams, advocating for regional needs and opportunities.
- Manage long and complex technical sales cycles with persistence and strong follow-through.
- Travel extensively within India and occasionally internationally to support business development activities.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in B2B technical sales, ideally within sensors, electronics, or related technologies.
- Proven ability to develop long-term relationships in emerging or new markets.
- Experience managing technical sales cycles involving engineering and R&D stakeholders.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate remotely and independently.
- Engineering degree required (Electrical Engineering preferred) combined with strong commercial acumen.
- Established network within the Indian manufacturing sector, particularly HVAC, appliance, or industrial companies.
- Excellent English communication skills; experience working with US or European companies is a plus.
- Willingness to travel frequently within India and occasionally internationally.
