Role: Business Development Manager – Industry & Environmental Compliance

DATOMS is an Industrial IoT platform that unifies machines, sensors, and sites to help OEMs, rental businesses, and enterprises(Industries) monitor and optimize their distributed assets in real time.
We partner closely with Analyzer OEMs and industries to simplify environmental compliance and sustainability through real-time data, edge intelligence, and automated reporting.

Your mission is to turn DATOMS into the default choice for industrial customers and analyser supplier partners who want to make that shift—from reactive firefighting to always-on, data-driven operations.
What you will own
- Build and grow a high‑quality pipeline for DATOMS Industrial IoT and environmental compliance solutions across priority industrial clusters and regions.
- Lead strategic accounts across three lenses: Analyzer Suppliers, SI/Reseller partners, and end‑industry customers—shaping multi-year, outcome-based engagements rather than one-off deals.
- Decode client processes, regulatory exposure and asset landscape, then co-design clear problem statements and success metrics that DATOMS can own.
- Run a sharp, modern sales motion: discovery, value narrative, ROI and risk justification, stakeholder alignment, commercial design, and closure.
- Orchestrate Sales and deployments with Pre-Sales, Product, Customer Success and Partner teams so that closed-won consistently becomes live, loved and growing.
- Represent the voice of the field inside DATOMS—feeding structured insights on regulations, competition and customer behaviour back into product roadmap and GTM.

In your first 12-18 months, success looks like:
- A visible, growing book of business with industrial clients and analyzer equipment partners, with a healthy mix of new logos and expansion.
- Strong renewal and expansion rates because customers clearly see DATOMS as critical to compliance, uptime and productivity.
- A small set of flagship reference accounts that are happy to speak publicly about the transformation they achieved with DATOMS.
- An ecosystem of engaged partners (Group of Industries and SIs) that proactively bring you into deals because you make them more competitive.
What you bring
- Engineering or technical degree with solid B2B sales / business development experience in Industrial Automation, IoT, analyzers or adjacent domains (typically 7-10 years).
- Proven success selling complex solutions to industrial customers and/or working closely with OEMs and system integrators in India.
- Comfort operating in the world of emissions, environmental monitoring, and sustainability initiatives (CPCB/CEQMS/CEMS, water/air/effluent, ESG narratives).
- A consultative, outcome-based selling style: you are as comfortable in a plant room or lab as you are in a CXO review.
- Fluency with digital tools (CRM, opportunity analytics, remote demos, collaboration tools) and an instinct for working cross-functionally rather than in silos.
- Ability to travel extensively to customer, partner and site locations.
