Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Manager, for our Pune office, working remotely for USA region. The role entails identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and contributing to overall revenue growth. The selected candidate will identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop client relationships, create and deliver compelling proposals, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure client needs are met. The role includes managing sales funnels, product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and consultative selling to achieve revenue targets, and staying informed on industry trends and competitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities through lead generation tools, outbound prospecting, and inbound enquiries
  • Conduct product demos, discovery calls, and client presentations for global prospects (primarily US region)
  • Build and manage a strong sales pipeline and forecast revenue
  • Understand client training / HR / L&D requirements and propose suitable LMS solutions
  • Coordinate with pre-sales, product, and implementation teams for solutioning and closures
  • Negotiate commercials, manage proposals, and close deals
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and track all sales activities
  • Develop long-term relationships with clients for upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Responsible for achieving the allotted sales revenue quota

Skill Sets required

  • Proven experience of 2-4 years in business development, Inside Sales in SaaS / HR Tech / eLearning product sales
  • Experience in client relationship management, and sales strategy formulation for consultative selling.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based software solutions or Learning Management Systems is a plus
  • Ability to conduct market research and identify potential growth opportunities in the eLearning and technology sectors.
  • Strong understanding of consultative sales approach and sales funnel management
  • Knowledge of eLearning solutions, learning technologies, or related industries is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in proposal writing and crafting tailored solutions for clients.
  • AI Savvy and should be willing to learn AI for Sales process improvement

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Ability to work in US shift / global time zones
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like HubSpot / Zoho 
  • Self-motivated individual with a result-oriented mindset and excellent organizational abilities.
