About the Role:
We are looking for a Business Development Manager who can drive enterprise sales, build a strong pipeline, close new business, and grow opportunities with existing clients at ConvergenSEE.
This is an individual-contributor, quota-carrying role responsible for expanding ConvergenSEE's footprint across large enterprises. The role will carry direct sales targets, with performance measured against quarterly and annual revenue goals.
As Opportunity Creators, we believe this role is about opening the right doors for brands, understanding their business needs, and bringing them solutions across digital marketing, martech, content, creators, and customer experience.
You will work closely with the Founder– Sales, Digital Strategy, Marketing, and internal teams to identify opportunities, deliver strong pitches, build relationships, and close high-value deals.
How you create opportunities:
Enterprise Sales & Revenue Growth
· Own quarterly and annual sales targets for new business and growth opportunities.
· Build and execute a strong territory plan to identify top enterprise prospects.
· Close net new business on a monthly and quarterly basis.
· Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts.
· Drive both top-line and bottom-line revenue outcomes.
Pipeline Building & Prospecting
· Build a predictable and credible 4x quota pipeline through consistent prospecting.
· Identify, qualify, and nurture new opportunities across target accounts.
· Use relevant channels, networks, events, and referrals to create sales conversations.
· Maintain accurate pipeline updates, deal movement, and revenue forecasts.
· Stay disciplined with follow-ups, account planning, and opportunity tracking.
Client Relationships and Account Influence
· Build influential relationships at multiple levels within targeted accounts.
· Develop strong connections with senior decision-makers, including C-level stakeholders.
· Understand client challenges and align ConvergenSEE's offerings to business needs.
· Create trust through clear communication, strong follow-through, and solution-led thinking.
· Maintain long-term relationships that support repeat business and growth.
Pitching, Proposals & Deal Closure
· Fine-tune and deliver sales pitches that are clear, relevant, and effective.
· Work closely with Digital Strategy team to build strong proposals and win competitive deals.
· Present ConvergenSEE martech offering with confidence.
· Negotiate customer agreements and move deals towards closure.
· Ensure every pitch is backed by a clear understanding of the client's business and goals.
Market Presence & Events
· Represent ConvergenSEE at trade events, exhibitions, and relevant industry forums.
· Identify prospects and networking opportunities through events and market interactions.
· Capture market feedback, competitor insights, and category trends.
· Use market presence to build visibility and strengthen enterprise relationships.
Who we're looking for
· 7+ years of experience in sales or business development in a high-performance, target-driven organisation.
· 4+ years of successful experience selling digital marketing offerings to large enterprises.
· Proven track record of identifying, qualifying, negotiating, and closing new business.
· Strong ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
· Good knowledge of the digital marketing industry and related products and services.
· Experience building and maintaining senior-level client relationships, including C-level points of contact.
· Strong understanding of deal qualification, revenue forecasting, and sales pipeline management.
· Ability to deliver customer presentations, sales pitches, proposals, and position statements with clarity.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Result-oriented, growth-driven, and energised by challenges.
· Strong personal ownership, integrity, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
· Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment without significant supervision.
