We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who understands the school ecosystem, can build relationships with decision-makers, and has a proven track record of closing institutional partnerships.

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing partnerships with schools across India. The ideal candidate should have prior experience selling educational products or services to schools and be comfortable engaging with Principals, Directors, Trustees, School Owners, and Academic Leaders.

This role is highly target-driven and offers strong incentives linked to performance and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

School Partnership Acquisition

  • Identify and engage prospective schools.
  • Build relationships with Principals, Directors, Trustees, and School Management teams.
  • Conduct product presentations, demos, and partnership discussions.
  • Negotiate and close institutional partnerships.

Revenue Generation

  • Drive revenue through B2B and B2B2C school partnerships.
  • Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Create and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.

Business Development

  • Generate new opportunities through networking, referrals, events, and outbound outreach.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with school groups and educational networks.
  • Expand Skillizee's presence across target markets.

Sales Operations

  • Maintain CRM records and sales reports.
  • Track pipeline progress and forecast revenue accurately.
  • Collaborate with founders and delivery teams to ensure successful onboarding.

Candidate Profile

Must-Have Experience

  • 4–8 years of Business Development experience.

  • Demonstrated success in closing institutional deals.
