Position Details

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for food, water, Pharma, nutraceutical, Ayush, herbal and Calibration testing services with:
- Food manufacturers, FMCG companies, hotels, restaurants, caterers, packaged drinking water units, educational institutions, hospitals and government bodies.
- Meet monthly and quarterly sales targets through client acquisition, retention and upselling of testing panels and annual contracts.
- Conduct client visits, technical-commercial presentations and relationship-building meetings with key decision makers.
- Coordinate with the laboratory operations/technical team for quotations, sample scheduling, reports and customer support.
- Track market trends, competitor activities and new regulatory requirements (FSSAI/BIS etc.) and share insights with management.
- Prepare and maintain MIS reports: enquiries, visits, proposals, conversions, collections and outstanding payments.
- Participate in marketing activities such as seminars, workshops, exhibitions and institutional outreach campaigns when required.
Candidate Profile
- Education:
- Preferably B.Sc / M.Sc in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmacy or related discipline,
- OR Graduate with strong experience in B2B sales in testing / analytical / FMCG / pharma industry.
- Experience:
- 25 years of experience in B2B sales / business development.
- Prior experience in selling laboratory testing services, analytical services, or FMCG/food ingredients will be an added advantage.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and presentation skills in English and Hindi.
- Good network with local industry (food manufacturers, FMCG distributors, institutions, etc.).
- Result-oriented, self-motivated, willing to travel extensively in the allotted territory.
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, CRM/reporting tools).
Compensation & Reporting
- CTC Range:As per industry standards, based on experience and current CTC (please share profiles with current and expected CTC).
- Reporting To:Director / Head Business Development
