Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to help expand our presence in the Ed-Tech market. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, build strong relationships with colleges, institutions, and learners, and contribute to revenue growth. Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, emails, field visits, and digital platforms
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, colleges, training institutes, and corporate partners
- Present and promote Ed-Tech products/services to prospective clients
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable learning solutions
- Assist in negotiating deals, pricing, and contracts
- Work closely with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions in CRM systems
- Achieve assigned sales targets and KPIs on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Collect market feedback and share insights with the management team
- Participate in events, webinars, and education fairs as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field
- 4-6 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition (Ed-Tech experience preferred)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities
- Basic understanding of the education and Ed-Tech ecosystem
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools
Preferred Skills
- Experience selling online courses, LMS platforms, or digital learning solutions
- Familiarity with B2B and B2C sales models
