Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Manager role based in Bengaluru. The Business Development Manager will identify and qualify new business opportunities, build and manage a robust sales pipeline, and conduct outreach to prospective clients across target segments such as software companies, call centers, SMEs, and export houses. This role includes preparing and delivering product presentations and demos, understanding client requirements, and recommending appropriate VoIP solutions to meet their communication and cost-saving goals. The individual will lead negotiations, manage the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction. The Business Development Manager will also monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support pricing, product positioning, and strategic planning.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in B2B sales, business development, and account management, ideally within telecom, VoIP, SaaS, or related technology domains.
- Strong abilities in lead generation, prospecting, and pipeline management using CRM tools and data-driven approaches.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear business terms.
- Capability to build and maintain long-term client relationships, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive customer retention.
- Solid understanding of VoIP solutions, telecom services, or enterprise communication technologies, or a strong willingness to learn quickly.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess client requirements, identify opportunities, and propose tailored solutions.
- Comfort working on-site in Bengaluru, with readiness for client visits, meetings, and occasional travel as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience meeting or exceeding revenue targets and working with performance-based KPIs.
- Self-motivated, organized, and collaborative, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
