Business Development Manager

Gurugram, India (Hybrid) | BrandPatrol | Reports to Founder

About BrandPatrol

BrandPatrol helps brands detect, prevent, and recover revenue lost to affiliate fraud, brand bidding, trademark violations, and domain spoofing across search and paid media. We don't just monitor — we surface actionable violations that save real marketing spend.

The Role

Own the full sales cycle — from outbound prospecting to demos, negotiations, and close. This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives in a fast-moving startup, understands the AdTech and affiliate ecosystem, and can sell to both performance marketers and senior brand leaders.

What You'll Do

  • Own outbound prospecting across e-commerce, D2C, fintech, and performance-led brands
  • Manage inbound leads — qualify, run discovery calls, and move deals forward efficiently
  • Run compelling product demos tied to the prospect's specific revenue leakage pain points
  • Build and manage channel and agency partnerships for indirect revenue
  • Own deals end-to-end: first touch signed contract handoff to Client Success
  • Maintain a healthy CRM pipeline with accurate forecasting
  • Collaborate with founders to surface market feedback and shape GTM strategy
  • Represent BrandPatrol at affiliate conferences, industry events, and partner meetups

What We're Looking For

Required

  • 1–4 years in B2B sales, business development, or account management — ideally in AdTech, MarTech, or SaaS
  • Experience in international B2B sales, with exposure to markets beyond India
  • Hands-on experience with LinkedIn outreach for B2B prospecting and pipeline generation
  • Proven ability to run structured discovery, handle objections, and close deals
  • Comfortable engaging with both performance team leads and CXO-level stakeholders
  • Excellent communication — able to explain complex problems simply and build trust fast

Preferred

  • Strong understanding of Google Ads (Brand Search), affiliate marketing, or performance media
  • Familiarity with brand bidding, trademark misuse, or affiliate fraud
  • Experience with affiliate networks (Awin, Impact, CJ) or fraud/verification tools
  • Prior startup or early-stage sales experience
  • Existing relationships with media, performance, or affiliate agencies
