Role Overview

As a Business Development Manager – Private Market (medical devices, diagnostics, biopharmaceuticals, healthcare cold chain, or related sectors), you will play a critical role in driving Blackfrog's growth in the private segment. This is an individual contributor role with strong potential to evolve into a regional leadership position. You will be responsible for planning and achieving revenue targets, acquiring and managing strategic accounts, developing a robust channel partner network, and expanding Blackfrog's footprint across key metro markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, own, and achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets for assigned territories.
  • Develop and execute a go- to- market strategy for the private sector (diagnostics, hospitals, biopharmaceutical companies, specialty care). Identify, engage, and convert decision- makers across procurement, clinical, and operations functions.
  • Conduct impactful product demonstrations and presentations to varied stakeholders.
  • Drive the sales cycle from lead generation to closure, onboarding, and repeat business.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with accurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage channel partners to expand reach and accelerate market penetration.
  • Gather and share market intelligence on competition, customer needs, and pricing trends.
  • Collaborate with the customer success team to ensure smooth post- sales implementation and satisfaction.
  • Represent Blackfrog at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, Healthcare Management preferred).
  • 4–6 years of sales/business development experience in medical devices, diagnostics, biopharmaceuticals, healthcare cold chain, or related sectors.
  • Exposure to multi- city territory management and high- value account acquisition.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong network in private sector healthcare and life sciences companies is a plus.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship- building skills. Willingness to travel extensively (12–15 days/month). Self- driven, adaptable, and eager to take on larger responsibilities in a growing organisation.
