Job Description

Vedantu is looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to lead the expansion of our offline learning centres across South and West India. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in business development, franchise expansion, market development, and partnership management.

You will be responsible for identifying new markets, acquiring franchise partners, driving centre launches, and executing local go-to-market initiatives to accelerate student enrolments and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1] Business Expansion

  • Conduct market research to identify high-potential locations for new learning centres.
  • Prepare business cases and 2-year P&L projections for proposed centres.
  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard franchise partners across FICO, COCO, and FOFO models.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, rentals, investments, and brand fees.
  • Manage the complete expansion lifecycle from lead generation to centre launch.

2]Centre Launch & Go-to-Market

  • Execute launch plans for new centres.
  • Plan and manage BTL activities including seminars, roadshows, school outreach, and community engagement.
  • Represent Vedantu at education fairs and institutional events.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to execute local digital campaigns.

3]Partner & Stakeholder Management

  • Build long-term relationships with franchise partners and educational institutions.
  • Ensure smooth centre launches and operational readiness.
  • Deliver an excellent student and parent experience to drive referrals and enrolments.

Requirements:

  • 3–6 years of experience in Business Development, Franchise Development, Expansion, or Channel Sales.
  • Experience in Education, EdTech, Retail, QSR, Co-working, Healthcare, or franchise-led businesses.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in market analysis, financial planning, and business expansion.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across assigned regions.
