*Job Summary*

The Manager will be responsible for business development, client relationship management, insurance placement, underwriting , and servicing of corporate insurance accounts. The role involves handling end-to-end insurance solutions for clients, coordinating with insurers/reinsurers/brokers, supporting claims and renewals, and ensuring high standards of client servicing and market representation.

Key Roles & Responsibilities (KRA)

1. Business Development & Market Representation:

• Represent the Company professionally in the insurance market and create strong market goodwill.

• Identify and approach prospective corporate and individual clients for business opportunities.

• Conduct cold calls, fix meetings with decision-makers, and generate new business leads.

• Revisit existing and old clients for policy review, cross-selling, and renewal opportunities.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurers, brokers, and corporate clients.

• Generate new business opportunities through networking and market engagement.

2. Client Relationship Management & Servicing:

• Maintain strong relationships with key corporate clients and ensure timely servicing.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients for pending issues, claims follow-up, and policy discussions.

• Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide suitable insurance solutions.

• Coordinate with client locations/plants for operational and servicing requirements.

• Ensure high client satisfaction through proactive communication and support.

 3. Underwriting, Placement & Policy Management

• Procure quotations for fresh and renewal policies from insurers.

• Coordinate with insurers, reinsurers, and foreign brokers for policy placement and RI proposals.

• Handle Property & Casualty, Employee Benefit, CAR/EAR, and allied insurance requirements.

• Prepare QCR (Quote Comparison Reports) and placement documentation.

• Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with insurers for best client outcomes.

• Coordinate with plants/units for project insurance requirements and underwriting details.

 4. Claims Coordination & Policy Administration

• Monitor outstanding claims and coordinate with insurers for timely resolution.

• Assist clients with claim documentation and follow-up activities.

• Handle employee benefit servicing including addition/deletion of members and claim assistance.

• Ensure accurate maintenance of policy records and servicing documentation.

 5. Team Support & Coordination

• Support the marketing team in procurement of quotations and insurer coordination.

• Assist team members in client meetings and insurance presentations.

• Guide team members in preparation of QCRs and policy negotiations.

• Review proposals and support placement activities whenever required.

• Coordinate internally to ensure smooth execution of client requirements.

6. Insurer & Market Coordination

• Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers across locations.

• Liaise with insurance companies for new proposals, negotiations, and servicing support.

• Coordinate with domestic and international brokers/reinsurers for placement support.

• Stay updated with market trends, products, and underwriting practices.

Key Skills Required:

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Knowledge of General Insurance and Corporate Insurance Products

• Understanding of underwriting and placement processes

• Client relationship and servicing skills

• Ability to coordinate with insurers, brokers, and corporate clients

• Team coordination and presentation skills

• Good analytical and reporting abilities

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in General Insurance Broking / Corporate Insurance

• Exposure to Property & Casualty, Employee Benefits, and Project Insurance

• Experience in handling corporate clients and insurer coordination

• Knowledge of reinsurance coordination will be an added advantage.
