Job Description

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals to achieve and exceed sales targets. Provide guidance and support in prospecting, negotiating, and closing deals.
  • Key Account Management: Oversee key client accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and identifying upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive new business and expand existing accounts. Monitor market trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and build relationships with potential clients. Cultivate long-term partnerships to foster repeat business.
  • Performance Tracking & Process Improvement: Analyze sales performance data, generate forecasts, and report on the teams performance to senior leadership. Streamline the sales process to ensure efficiency and success. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and competitor activities.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer support teams to ensure alignment and smooth communication.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5-8 years prior industry related business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
