Role Overview:
Clover Organic is strengthening its advisory and consulting vertical in agroecology and sustainability-linked agriculture programmes. We are seeking a Business Development Manager to secure high-value consulting mandates and position Clover as a strategic partner to governments, donors, private companies, and institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Identify and convert consulting opportunities with government, multilaterals, CSR arms, and agribusinesses.
· Lead EOIs, technical and financial proposals, and competitive bids.
· Shape project scope, budgets, and delivery frameworks with internal teams.
· Build and manage institutional relationships and strategic partnerships.
· Track policy and market trends to inform growth strategy.
Performance Indicators
· Consulting revenue secured
· Proposal win ratio
· Strength of institutional partnerships
Profile:
· Degree in Development Studies, Social Work, Public Policy & Governance, Livelihoods or related field (MBA preferred).
· 5–10 years experience in agriculture consulting or development-sector BD.
· Proven track record of winning advisory assignments.
