Role Description The Business Development Manager is a full-time role based in Mumbai with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site client engagement with some work-from-home flexibility. This role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing relationships with key decision-makers in target sectors, and developing tailored proposals for IT infrastructure and managed services. The individual will conduct market research, track industry trends, and collaborate with delivery and technical teams to align solutions with client needs. Day-to-day tasks include managing the sales pipeline, preparing presentations, negotiating commercial terms, and ensuring smooth handover to operations for successful service implementation. The role also requires regular reporting on performance metrics, participation in strategic planning, and representation of Aforeserve at meetings, events, and client forums.

Experience - 6 Years to 10 Years

Salary Budget - 20 LPA

Location - Mumbai (Andheri East) near Sakinaka Junction metro station

Qualifications

  • Strong business development, B2B sales, and account management skills, with experience in IT services or technology solutions.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure, field support, and managed services, including multi-vendor environments and AMC/asset maintenance.
  • Proficiency in market research, lead generation, pipeline management, and opportunity qualification.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior stakeholders across industries.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, manage multiple opportunities, and meet revenue and growth targets.
  • Comfort with CRM tools, MS Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel), and basic data analysis for reporting and forecasting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
  • Prior experience in enterprise or mid-market sales within sectors such as banking, telecom, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, or public sector is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel within Mumbai and occasionally to other locations for client meetings and business development activities.
