Job Description

Dream a Dozen is an Indian gourmet gifting company creating thoughtfully curated gift hampers for corporates, weddings and celebrations. From beautifully designed packaging to handcrafted gourmet treats, we help brands and individuals create memorable gifting experiences.

Having delivered over 50,000 gift hampers to leading companies across India, we're now building the next phase of our growth and are looking for someone who loves building relationships, closing large deals and creating scalable sales systems.

Location: Bangalore (Work from Office)

About the Role

We're looking for an ambitious, target-driven Business Development Lead to drive revenue growth across our corporate gifting, wedding gifting and strategic partnership verticals.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys meeting clients, understanding their gifting needs, building long-term relationships and converting opportunities into large, repeat business.

You won't just sell—you'll help build the sales engine of the company.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Growth

  • Achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.
  • Generate new business through outbound prospecting, referrals, networking and partnerships.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
  • Build relationships with HR teams, Admin teams, Procurement teams, Marketing teams, Founders and decision-makers.
  • Develop key accounts and grow repeat business.

Client Relationship Management

  • Understand client requirements and recommend suitable gifting solutions.
  • Conduct client meetings and presentations.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
  • Ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey.

Business Expansion

  • Develop new sales channels and strategic partnerships.
  • Explore opportunities in weddings, premium gifting and hospitality.
  • Identify emerging market trends and customer needs.

Sales Operations

  • Maintain accurate CRM records and sales pipeline.
  • Prepare weekly sales reports and forecasts.
  • Track conversion rates and sales metrics.
  • Collaborate with marketing to improve lead generation campaigns.

Team Leadership

  • Mentor and support the business development team.
  • Set targets, monitor performance and coach team members.
  • Build scalable sales processes and best practices.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of experience in Business Development, Corporate Sales or Key Account Management.
  • Salary will be basis experience ranging between 8-12LPA including variable.
  • Experience handling B2B sales and enterprise clients.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Comfortable meeting clients across Bangalore.
  • Self-driven, proactive and highly organised.
  • Experience using CRM software is preferred.
  • Prior experience in gifting, FMCG, hospitality, luxury products, events or premium consumer brands is an advantage.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first 6 months, you will:

  • Build a healthy, qualified sales pipeline.
  • Close new corporate clients
  • Increase repeat business from existing customers.
  • Improve lead-to-order conversion rates.
  • Create a predictable sales process with clear reporting and forecasting.
