Business Development Intern

Role Description The Business Development Intern role is a full-time, on-site position based in Delhi, India. The intern will support business development activities by identifying potential leads, assisting in market research, and contributing to customer outreach initiatives. Daily tasks include gathering and analyzing market and competitor data, maintaining lead databases, and supporting the preparation of presentations and proposals. The intern will also assist in coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth communication with clients and partners, and help improve processes that strengthen long-term business relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills to interpret market data, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making.
• Effective communication skills for engaging with potential clients and partners.
• Lead generation and market research skills to identify new opportunities and understand industry dynamics.
• Customer service skills to support relationship-building.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) or similar tools for reporting and presentations.
• Ability to work on-site in Delhi, India, with a proactive, learning-oriented mindset.
• Completion of a degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience in the paper, recycling, or waste management industry is an advantage.
