Business Development Intern

Location: Noida (Work From Office)

Duration: 3–6 months

Full-time offer: High performers are considered for a full-time BD Executive role

Role Overview

As a Business Development Intern, you'll sit at the top of our sales funnel. You'll research brands, build prospect lists, write outreach emails, follow up, and help move conversations forward — working directly with the BD team and the founders.

This is a learning-by-doing role. You won't be shadowing from the sidelines: you'll own real outreach campaigns, join live client calls, and see exactly how a pitch turns into a signed campaign. No prior sales experience is required — curiosity, communication, and consistency matter far more.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Lead Generation

• Research brands, founders, marketing managers, and decision-makers relevant to our services.
• Build qualified B2B lead lists using Apollo.io, LinkedIn, company websites, and other tools (we'll train you on these).
• Create targeted outreach lists sorted by industry, campaign type, and business requirement.
• Build and maintain clean prospect databases in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.

Outreach & Communication

• Draft personalized, creative cold emails and send them through Gmail.
• Run outreach campaigns and maintain disciplined follow-up schedules.
• Support LinkedIn outreach and inbound lead responses.
• Track responses and keep every lead's status updated.

Meetings & Support

• Join discovery calls and client meetings alongside the BD team, and take detailed meeting notes.
• Prepare research briefs on prospects before calls.
• Help build proposals, decks, and client briefs.
• Coordinate meeting scheduling and internal follow-ups.

Tracking & Learning

• Maintain CRM records and outreach trackers accurately.
• Track response rates, meeting conversions, and campaign performance.
• Hit weekly lead-generation and outreach targets.
• Keep up with brand campaigns, marketing trends, and competitor activity — and bring what you find to the team.

Required Skills

Communication

• Clear, confident written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to write emails that sound human, not templated.
• Comfort speaking on calls and asking questions.
• Good listening skills and a genuine interest in people.

Technical

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
• Comfortable with Gmail and professional email etiquette.
• Willingness to learn Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and CRM tools (prior experience is a bonus, not a requirement).
• Comfortable using AI tools to research faster and write better.

Organizational

• Strong research instincts and attention to detail.
• Ability to juggle multiple lists and campaigns without dropping follow-ups.
• Good time management and the discipline to hit daily targets.

• Students in their final years, recent graduates, or anyone taking a focused break to build skills.
• Background in Business, Marketing, Management, Communications, or any field — we care more about how you think.
• Prior internship experience in sales, marketing, campus ambassador programs, or college fest sponsorship is a strong plus.
• Available to work from our Noida office.
