Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to support our sales and growth initiatives. The intern will work closely with the Business Development and Leadership teams to identify potential clients, generate leads, conduct market research, and contribute to business growth opportunities across industries.
This role provides hands-on exposure to B2B sales, client acquisition, strategic partnerships, market intelligence, and the technology consulting ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify prospective clients across various industries.
- Generate and qualify leads through LinkedIn, email outreach, referrals, and other channels.
- Build and maintain a database of potential clients and business opportunities.
- Assist in preparing sales pitches, proposals, presentations, and client communication materials.
- Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry trend assessments.
- Support the team in scheduling and coordinating client meetings and follow-ups.
- Track outreach activities and maintain accurate records in CRM tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements and solution offerings.
- Participate in business development campaigns and strategic growth initiatives.
- Prepare reports and insights on lead generation performance and pipeline status.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, or related fields.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent research and analytical abilities.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Workspace.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and eager to learn.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior internship experience in sales, business development, marketing, or consulting.
- Understanding of technology, AI, SaaS, digital transformation, or startup ecosystems.
- Experience with CRM platforms and lead generation tools is an added advantage.
