Position: Intern Business Development
Location: 2nd floor, Awfis, Space Solution, Rajiv Gandhi Salai, Industrial Estate, Perungudi, Chennai, Tamil Nadu 600096
Duration: 3 Months
Stipend: 6,000 per month (Fixed) + Incentives
Incentive Structure:
- 250 for each in-person client meeting
- 2,000 for each successful sales conversion
Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to support our sales and growth initiatives. The intern will be responsible for lead generation, client outreach, and assisting in closing business opportunities. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world sales and business development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate potential leads through online research, cold calling, emails, and social media platforms
- Reach out to prospective clients to introduce company products/services
- Schedule and attend in-person client meetings
- Support the sales team in follow-ups and negotiations
- Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, and conversions
- Assist in preparing sales pitches and presentations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic understanding of sales and business development concepts
- Willingness to travel for in-person meetings (if required)
- Self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel and email communication
