Our mobile-first super app enables users and merchants to transact across UPI, cards, IBAN accounts, stablecoins, multi-chain wallets, real-world utilities, tokenized assets, and AI-powered financial tools, all in a secure, compliant, and interoperable experience.

About the Role

We're looking for a Business Development Intern to support our growth in the cross-border payments segment. You'll work closely with the sales and partnerships team to identify new leads, research potential business clients, and help expand our global payments network.

This role is well-suited for someone who is energetic, detail-oriented, and confident in communicating with businesses.

What You'll Work On

• Research and identify potential business leads in cross-border payments, exports, and merchant segments
• Support the BD team in outreach, client profiling, and maintaining lead databases
• Reach out to prospects via calls, emails, or LinkedIn to introduce bepay's solutions
• Assist in scheduling and preparing for client meetings or demos
• Coordinate with internal teams for follow-ups and lead progression
• Maintain accurate CRM entries and daily reporting of outreach activities
• Contribute ideas for lead generation campaigns and market expansion

Required

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to comfortably communicate with clients in Hindi (many of our customers use Hindi in daily communication)
• Knowledge of one or more additional Indian languages (for example, Marathi, Gujarati, or Punjabi) will be an advantage when working with regional clients
• Currently pursuing or recently completed graduation/post-graduation in Business, Commerce, Economics, or a related field
• Interest in fintech, payments, or business development
• Confident, self-motivated, and comfortable speaking with business clients
• Familiarity with MS Excel, Google Sheets, or CRM tools is a plus
