Sales & Business Development Executive

Location: Delhi + Field Work

Department: Sales & Marketing

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience: 2+ Years Preferred

Reporting To: Business Head

Role Overview

We are seeking a Sales & Business Development Executive with 2+ years of experience in the architecture products, interior products, and building materials industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing sales activities, including identifying and developing leads, meeting potential clients, and converting leads into successful business opportunities. This role requires a proactive sales approach and a strong understanding of the industry to drive growth and build lasting client relationships.

Job Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Development

  • Identify and research potential clients.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads through cold calling, meetings, networking, and industry events.

2. Client Engagement

  • Meet with potential clients to understand their requirements and present suitable product solutions.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction for both new and existing clients.

3. Sales Conversion

  • Convert leads into sales through effective product presentations and value-based selling.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.

4. Market Analysis

  • Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
  • Provide market feedback to support product development and business growth.

5. Sales Planning

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on promotional initiatives and campaigns.

6. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and transactions.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.

Technical Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Design, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience using Google Workspace tools (Gmail, Drive, etc.).
  • Professional email communication skills.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to think quickly and handle client negotiations effectively.
  • Comfortable with local and outstation travel as required.

Preferred Candidates

  • Experience in Wall Finishes, Building Materials, Paints, or related industries.
  • Own conveyance and laptop preferred.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience selling high-end interior products.
