Job Description

TecSight is looking for a motivated and result-oriented Business Development Executive to support business growth by identifying new opportunities, generating leads, building client relationships, and closing sales opportunities. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a sales-driven mindset, and the ability to connect with potential clients through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking, and follow-ups.

The role requires someone who can understand client requirements, present TecSight's services effectively, schedule client meetings, support proposal discussions, and contribute to revenue growth.

Role Overview

The Business Development Executive will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing the sales pipeline, building relationships with prospects, and converting leads into clients. The candidate will actively reach out to potential customers, understand their business needs, introduce TecSight's solutions, and coordinate with internal teams to deliver suitable proposals and services.

This role is ideal for someone who is confident in client communication, comfortable with outbound sales, persistent in follow-ups, and capable of achieving monthly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development and Lead Generation

  • Identify and research potential clients across target markets and industries.
  • Generate new business leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, referrals, networking, and online research.
  • Build and maintain a strong database of prospects, decision-makers, and key contacts.
  • Understand TecSight's services and identify suitable prospects who may benefit from the company's solutions.
  • Develop and execute outbound lead generation strategies to create a consistent sales pipeline.
  • Qualify leads based on client requirements, budget, decision-making authority, timeline, and business fit.

Client Outreach and Communication

  • Contact potential clients through phone calls, emails, LinkedIn messages, and other professional channels.
  • Introduce TecSight's services in a clear, professional, and persuasive manner.
  • Engage with prospects to understand their business challenges, requirements, and expectations.
  • Handle client queries, objections, and concerns confidently.
  • Maintain regular follow-ups with prospects to move opportunities through the sales pipeline.
  • Build long-term professional relationships with prospects, clients, and business partners.

Sales Meetings and Presentations

  • Schedule qualified meetings, discovery calls, and product or service discussions with potential clients.
  • Coordinate with the sales team, technical team, or management for client presentations and requirement discussions.
  • Prepare and deliver basic sales presentations, company introductions, and service overviews when required.
  • Share relevant client information and meeting notes with internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely follow-up after meetings to maintain client engagement.

Sales Pipeline Management

  • Manage assigned leads and opportunities through the sales pipeline.
  • Track each prospect's status, follow-up date, requirement details, and next steps.
  • Update CRM systems regularly with call notes, email communication, meeting outcomes, and opportunity status.
  • Ensure no potential leads are missed due to lack of follow-up.
  • Work toward achieving weekly and monthly lead generation, meeting, and sales targets.

Proposal and Deal Support

  • Understand client requirements and coordinate with internal teams to prepare suitable solutions.
  • Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, presentations, and business documents.
  • Follow up with clients on submitted proposals and support negotiation discussions.
  • Coordinate with management to finalize pricing, scope, timelines, and terms.
  • Support the sales closure process and ensure smooth handover to the delivery or account management team.

Market Research and Competitor Analysis

  • Research market trends, industry requirements, and competitor activities.
  • Identify new business opportunities, potential markets, and emerging client needs.
  • Provide feedback to the management team on market demand and customer expectations.
  • Suggest improvements in outreach strategies, sales messaging, and lead generation campaigns.

Reporting and Performance Tracking

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on calls, emails, leads generated, meetings scheduled, proposals shared, and deals closed.
  • Track performance against assigned targets and KPIs.
  • Share regular updates with the sales manager regarding pipeline status and business opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all sales and business development activities.
