Role Overview
The
Senior Academic Counsellor/BDE Cyber Security will play a pivotal role in guiding students, graduates, and working professionals toward career advancement opportunities in Cyber Security and globally recognized international certifications. The role involves understanding individual career aspirations, recommending suitable certification pathways (such as ethical hacking, penetration testing, network security, cloud security, etc.), and supporting candidates throughout the enrollment process.
The ideal candidate should have strong awareness of cyber security career pathways, international certification frameworks, and industry trends, along with excellent communication, persuasion, and conversion skills to achieve admissions and performance targets consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Counsel prospective students and professionals on Data Science programs, certifications, and related career opportunities.
- Clearly explain Technovalley's curriculum structure, international certifications, and placement benefits.
- Manage inquiries and follow-ups to achieve monthly enrolment and revenue targets.
- Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions, group orientations, and webinars.
- Maintain detailed lead records in the CRM and ensure high conversion ratios.
- Collaborate with marketing and academic departments to align promotional and academic strategies.
- Present weekly and monthly progress reports to the DGM Admissions.
- Participate in education fairs, institutional seminars, and online campaigns.
- Maintain updated knowledge of Data Science career trends, tools, and technologies.
Requirements:
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or Management.
- 03 years of experience in academic counselling, preferably in IT related programs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Malayalam.
- Excellent presentation, counselling, and persuasive abilities.
- Proficiency in CRM, MS Office, and Google Workspace tools.
- Result-oriented attitude with proven experience in meeting admissions or sales targets.
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of Cyber Security Programs is a Plus
- Prior experience working in an EdTech or higher education organization.
- Ability to host informative webinars or video sessions.
