Job Description

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Business Development Executive to expand market presence and drive sales growth for our bakery product range. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong distributor and retailer networks, and achieving sales targets in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in retail stores, supermarkets, cafes, hotels, and institutional clients.
  • Appoint and manage distributors, wholesalers, and channel partners.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for bakery products.
  • Conduct regular market visits to ensure product visibility, availability, and proper merchandising.
  • Develop strong relationships with retailers and key accounts.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Implement promotional schemes and marketing activities to increase sales.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy receivables.
  • Provide regular sales reports and market feedback to management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • 13 years of experience in FMCG / food & beverage / bakery product sales.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory.
  • Target-driven with excellent relationship management skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of bakery products such as breads, cakes, pastries, cookies, and confectionery items.
  • Experience in channel sales and distribution management.
  • Basic understanding of market analysis and sales forecasting.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.

Locations - many cities in India

Salary - 25k to 35k
