About the Role
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Executive to spearhead our sales efforts and build meaningful, long-lasting relationships with prospective clients. In this role, you will be the frontline ambassador of our brandidentifying new market opportunities, converting cold leads into warm prospects, and nurturing them through the sales funnel to close.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, possesses exceptional communication skills, and has a proven track record of turning outreach into revenue. You will work closely with marketing, product, and leadership teams to develop strategies that drive sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, cold calling, networking, and strategic outreach campaigns.
Convert cold leads into warm, engaged prospects by building trust and establishing value through consultative selling techniques.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads using CRM tools; track all activities and ensure accurate forecasting.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activity, and untapped segments for business expansion.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across target organizations.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.
Collaborate with the marketing team to refine lead-generation strategies, campaign messaging, and brand positioning.
Negotiate and close deals, ensuring alignment with company pricing, terms, and revenue targets.
Provide regular sales reports, pipeline updates, and performance metrics to the leadership team.
Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to expand the company's market presence.
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
12 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or a client-facing role.
Demonstrated ability to generate leads, build pipelines, and close deals independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly.
Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with people and build rapport quickly.
Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in B2C sales within education industry.
Familiarity with sales engagement tools.
Track record of exceeding quarterly and annual sales quotas.
MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a plus.
