Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Business Development Executive role based in Bengaluru. The Business Development Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, build and nurture a strong sales pipeline, and generate qualified leads for Protrainy's training programs. The role includes conducting outreach via calls, emails, and meetings; presenting Protrainy's offerings to prospective clients; and maintaining long-term relationships with institutions, organizations, and individual learners. The individual will collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals that support revenue and growth targets. The role also involves tracking market trends, gathering customer feedback, and contributing ideas to refine sales strategies and product positioning.
Qualifications
  • Strong new business development and lead generation skills, with experience building and managing a sales pipeline.
  • Solid business acumen and understanding of sales processes, preferably within education, training, or related sectors.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present solutions clearly to diverse stakeholders.
  • Proven account management abilities, including relationship building, client retention, and upselling or cross-selling.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Comfort working with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and basic reporting to track activities and performance metrics.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven mindset with the ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team.
  • Familiarity with civil engineering education or e-learning products is an advantage.
